Third Grade art students made patriotic posters these past weeks in time for the SMES mock election and the National Election.

Our current project is about printmaking. We have started with learning how to successfully roll up printing ink and work with relief printing.   We used pre-existing stamps and made stamping designs on our art portfolios.

Next, using paper and crayon, students will further become aware of relief prints
doing rubbings as we take a walk through the school.
